Free Coworking Day
Bayabyin Hub x Abraham Manila Collaboration

I just wanted to share an event I attended last week in 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐢, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚.
Baybayin Hub interns enjoyed an invitation to Abraham Manila during the Co-working Day collaboration event last Wednesday. The event commenced at 10 am, ushering in a full day of creativity and productivity that extended into the night.
My Travel:
My journey began at Masinag Station in Antipolo, where I hopped on the LRT 2 line. With my trusty Beep card (usable for trains and some e-jeeps!), I cruised to Cubao-Araneta Station for a quick transfer to the MRT. The train ride offered a welcome respite as my destination was four stops away.
At Guadalupe station, I disembarked (fare around ₱20 without Beep card) and followed the well-marked signs to exit. Taking the stairs to the right, I found myself at a convenient roundabout with jeeps bound for Makati Avenue.
A quick ₱13 fare later (standard minimum jeepney fare), I was on my way. I double-checked the venue on Google Maps to ensure a smooth disembarkation. Just before the jeep reached Makati Avenue, I hopped off and used Maps again for a final navigation assist. A short 5-10 minute walk landed me right at my destination.
Throughout the event, the interns primarily utilised the vibrant 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫 of the hostel, which offered an abundance of workspace both indoors and outdoors. As the day progressed, participants also ventured to the Ground Floor, where additional workspace were available both indoors and outdoors. Moreover, a serene booth equipped to accommodate three workers provided a quiet space for focused collaboration.
Before the lunch break, Ma’am 𝐉𝐞𝐳 – 𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐦’𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫, graciously led the interns on a tour of the hostel’s diverse rooms, allowing them to experience the range of accommodations offered to guests.
Upon the interns’ return and just before the majority departed at 6 pm, a delightful game section ensued. Beginning with an engaging icebreaker, participants then shared their impressions of the Partnered Property; ending in a, trivia questions about Baybayin added an enriching twist to the interactive session.
In addition to the Co-working Event, Baybayin Hub Cowork, Colive & Play arranged for 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 to join the festivities at 2 pm. These talented artists were tasked to offer capturing the essence of both the event attendees and the guests residing at the hostel through their artistic 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. Their presence brought an extra layer of entertainment for both the attendees of the event and the guests staying at the hostel, adding a dynamic and creative dimension to the gathering.
At 8 pm, 𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐦’𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 graced the venue, filling the night with melodious tunes for the remainder of the night. Their performance not only entertained the guests and passersby but also added a delightful ambience to the occasion. Meanwhile, the accommodation delighted attendees with their 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞, 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐚𝐬, offered at a reasonable price of only 300 Pesos.
